Inov8 Roclite Max GORE-TEX Trail Shoes Experience maximum comfort with the Roclite Max GORE-TEX - highly cushioned, waterproof hiking shoes designed for demanding day hikes and multi-day adventures. GORE-TEX Upper Protecting feet from the ever-changing British weather, the Roclite Max utilises a GORE-TEX membrane through the upper. The GORE-TEX membrane ensures that feet remain dry and comfortable throughout your wear, whilst preventing moisture building up from inside, wicking it away to help prevent discomfort and overheating. The membrane has been bonded to a single piece of 3D durable air mesh that increases airflow into the shoes, keeping your feet cool and comfortable throughout use. Increasing the comfort of the shoe Inov8 has used its new foot-shaped design that hugs the natural contours, locking in at the heel and widening at the toebox, allowing toes to splay naturally for greater comfort and performance. Supplying you with even more protection, the shoes have a toe bumper that runs through to the midfoot, protecting you from knocks and scrapes. Completing the upper, providing a secure fit and locking down the midfoot, is Inov8's MET CRADLE that tightens when laces are pulled, forming a protective cradle around the foot, keeping feet supported when walking over uneven, technical terrain. FLYSPEED Pro Midsole The midsole of the Roclite Max has been created using a thick wedge of nitrogen-infused foam that provides high energy return and responsiveness while being lighter than a traditional EVA foam. FLYSPEED Pro foam delivers a bouncy, comfortable ride even over long distances. Although FLYSPEED Pro cushioning is highly responsive, this still allows for great ground feel, keeping the shoe agile and flexible. Compared to other foams, it's more durable, keeping the shoe in better condition and lasting much longer. Infusing nitrogen into the foam Inov8 has expanded their midsoles, increasing underfoot comfort and propulsion. The foam helps propel you forward, increasing speed while absorbing shocks and negative impacts as you strike hard surfaces. This reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. Increasing underfoot comfort, the midsole has been combined with a Boomerang Footbed. This provides a 40% greater energy rebound. As your foot strikes the ground, this revolutionary foam retains energy. Hundreds of expanded TPU beads compress then spring back, releasing that energy to propel you forward with increased speed and bounce. Completing the midsole is the Roclite Max GORE-TEX's ADAPTERFLEX groove, which promotes the natural flex of your foot and allows the shoe to adapt and react to the terrain. STICKYGRIP Outsole Designed with a STICKYGRIP rubber outsole and 6mm lugs, these shoes offer confidence-boosting traction when you hit the trail.
