Ronhill Freedom Ultra Women's Trail Running Shoes The Freedom Ultra is a high-performance trail racing shoe designed for speed, efficiency, and durability over medium to long distances. Featuring Matryx and Michelin Soles, it delivers a fast, smooth ride with the toughness needed for ultra distances. MATRYX EVO Upper Constructed using a MATRXY EVO upper, the Freedom Ultra ensures ultimate coverage and protection whilst out on the trails. The one-piece material encourages cool air to circulate whilst removing unwanted warm air, creating a perfect microclimate. The upper also helps to reduce the overall weight of the shoe for faster-feeling feet and reduces the risk of chafing and irritation to the foot caused by seams. The knitted tongue and collar sit close to the foot to increase comfort, whilst the traditional lacing system locks the midfoot for a secure fit. The laces are notched to ensure they remain tied. The true-fit last shape ensures natural movement of the foot and toe splay, preventing constriction. Completing the upper is a sturdy heel cup which provides excellent levels of stability on technical terrain. Duo-Pro Midsole The midsole of the Freedom Ultra has been engineered using a dual-density Duo-Pro foam. The top layer is soft to provide comfort, shock absorption and a cushioned ride, whilst the bottom layer is firmer to provide greater stability. The combination of the two provides you with everything you need to push it to the max out of the trails, providing you with a fast and efficient feel. OC1 Michelin Outsole Designed using an OC1 Michelin outsole, the Freedom Ultra offers exceptional grip and traction when traversing along the trails. It stands for 'Outdoor Compound 1' and is an extremely robust and durable rubber suitable for hard and abrasive surfaces whilst allowing great traction on trails.
