Reinforced Matryx, Kevlar and Ripstop Upper The upper of the Offtrail TR has been designed for traversing rough terrain. It features an overlasted Matryx forefoot with Kevlar reinforcements for added stability, protection and durability out on the trail, whilst the rear quarter is constructed from a high-tenacity ripstop fabric to keep structural integrity should you snag on any branches or rocks. A reinforced toe cap protects from knocks and scrapes to keep the shoe and your foot shielded from damage. A traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot for a secure, comfortable fit that inspires confidence. EVA Midsole The midsole is constructed from a high-rebound EVA for comfort and energy return. The EVA absorbs shock as you strike down, cushioning your foot and protecting it from aggressive force; it then utilises the power from this to spring you into your next step. This gives you a springy, effortless feel and conserves energy so you can run further, faster, with less effort. Heel-positioning technology works to provide improved stability on uneven terrain. Surface CTRL Outsole The trail running shoes utilise a Surface CTRL outsole, which is a bio-based outsole rubber that helps to provide you with high levels of traction and grip on a variety of terrains, including wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on a mixture of grounds, but it also provides feet with multi-directional traction. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails yet, is flexible enough to adapt to different terrain so you can have complete control. It is made using 10% rubber from smallholder farmers committed to agroforestry principles and regenerative agriculture practices, ensuring you get a shoe that is not only fast and grippy but eco-conscious too. 5mm lugs bite into the ground for aggressive grip and traction on soft, muddy surfaces, great for the great British countryside.
