Perforations in the fabric encourage air to flow freely around the shoe, releasing built-up heat and creating a healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Just like previous versions, the mesh is designed to stretch, moving with your foot as though the shoe was made for you, while providing a secure hold as you move through the gait cycle. Working with this, the uppers protect feet in poor conditions, thanks to a GORE-TEX membrane. The waterproof fabric ensures optimum comfort, keeping you well protected and comfortable on the trails. Nike has made the toebox wider than the Pegasus 41 using the new MR-10 2.0 Last, offering extra room for your toes while maintaining the shoe's great fit, and reflective details help to increase visibility in low-light conditions. The rubber is placed in high-wear areas, with the full forefoot and sections of the heel, to increase durability and resist heel-strike trauma.
