The GORE-TEX materials provide you with optimum protection on the trails by keeping your feet protected from rain and moisture in poor, changing weather, including snowy conditions. These materials are highly breathable to stop feet from overheating, as well as having moisture-wicking properties to prevent the build-up of sweat and moisture. This combination of materials provides your feet with a cool, comfortable wearing experience. The 3D-printed toe enhances the shoes' durability and provides you with support in high-wear areas whilst helping to keep your socks warm and dry. A sturdy, high ankle cuff helps to keep the debris and trail rubble from entering and ensures feet remain warm and cosy when traversing colder climates. Reflective details enhance your visibility when out in low-light conditions, and a traditional lace-up reduces in-shoe slipping, keeping feet secure to ensure you remain confident on the trails. Finally, this unique colourway uses earthy textures and a speckled design to represent the Two Bays Trail's tough terrain, whilst red arrows on the tongue and upper are inspired by the iconic arrow signage with handwritten numbers that are usually seen throughout the trail. Propelling you forward on your trail run, the midsole has outstanding energy return, keeping you comfortable on the changing terrains, and helping to reduce fatigue whilst enhancing performance. Not only does the midsole reduce fatigue and enhance performance, but it also minimises unnecessary muscle strain, allowing you to work for longer periods. The foam reduces the carbon footprint of the midsole by around 43% compared to the previous React foam included in the Pegasus Trail 4s, therefore helping to support the planet.
